Policrea puts personal physical and psychic well-being at the center of its philosophy.

In selecting the members of my staff, I looked for people’s professionals, who not only love their jobs, but see their knowledge as a gift to share with others, making each person’s life journey as easy and varied as possible.

It’s my pleasure to introduce them: knowing them will be a pleasure for you, too!

Hatha Yoga Instructor, Zen Shiatsu Therapist, Registered Shiatsu Therapist APOS

This is just my job’s formal definition. The truth is, my birth took place in Australia. Not my biological birth, which brought me into this world under the Emilia sun. No, my Australian birth brought me face to face with my first struggles, love, my longing to excel, to challenge myself, and the acknowledgment that Yoga asanas would provide me with the connecting link to my darker side, enabling me to face them in a lifelong quest of self-discovery. That’s how I became a Yoga Instructor. Then, one day, the time came when I reached out to the Other: a hand that reaches out toward my fellow human being, feeling his Energy, expanding my sensations through experience, and practicing a higher form of mutual meditation. That’s how I became a Shiatsu Therapist. Shiatsu acts upon the person’s energy flow, favoring a balanced state. The pressure I apply on the meridians through my fingers activates the body’s self-healing ability. A quiet place, perfect for relaxing, a futon where one can stretch, and a natural self-awareness process, all help the body to regain energetic balance. A treatment that is also a philosophy: listening without diagnostication, listening through the other person’s energy, listening as a gift to share. Yoga and Shiatsu: providing my services to improve other people’s lives.

Paola Caiti

Business & Executive Manager

Born in Reggio Emilia in 1959, Paola was aware quite early that her skills led her to executive secretariat roles. After completing the required academic curriculum, she immediately went to work for a number of local companies. In 1995, together with her brother Davide, she co-founded a small publishing company. By 2001, Paola and Davide’s company had grown and welcomed new employees (its present staff counts 20 people), focusing on marketing and communication services, with Paola taking on the role of executive manager. In 2016, she chose to turn a different corner, by pursuing different interests in search of renewed motivation: a way to remain passionate about her engagements, and at the same time bringing the concepts of “doing”, “organizing”, and “cooperating” closer to home. She embarked on a new challenge, taking on the roles of administrative consultant, specializing in fiscal accounting practices, and event planner alongside her brother Roberto. Give a spear to a farmer, and he’ll turn soldier. Put motivation in his heart, and you will get a hero!
