Tibetan Massage (Ku Nye)

Ku Nye, a very ancient massage technique, has been practiced in Tibet for over 4,000 years. It’s one of the external therapies found in traditional Tibetan medicine.

Treatment philosophy: every person is treated as a singular case, meaning that an in-depth search is conducted, aimed at identifying the source of the body’s imbalance. The critical element is identified, analyzed, and taken care of, according to the person’s characteristics.

How it works: depending on the person’s needs and traits, specifically chosen natural oils are used in joints mobilization therapy, paired with heat wraps, and followed by the massage proper. Excess oil is then wiped off with wet warm towels or natural flours, causing a pleasant scrubbing effect.
